this was a picture from thursday, just before two door cinema club played at new slang. it was such an amazing night! i was absolutely nutted on alcoholic beverages & was surrounded by great friends and amazing music. much love for the new slang team at banquet records; they continually find amazing bands for us to come and watch. it's very very cheap and they pull it off every time. i've seen most of my favourite bands there now, and always paying less than £8.00. names include; jack penate, foals, two door cinema club, futureheads, los campesinos, MYSTERY JETS, darwin deez, goldie lookin' chain (lol). some seriously wicked nights. i've also met so many new friends there. if you're ever in south london, i really do recommend it. after the bands have played; the djs turn on the tunes and play all our indie favourites. i really can't rave about it enough. i'll give ya'll the link:

this is the most beautiful thing i've ever seen!
my friend showed it to me about a year ago and i've only just remember about it and wanted to share it with all my lovely followers.
i love stop frame animation. i would love to have a go at it sometime. need to master imovie first though... (if that's even the program you use?!)
bournemouth was amaaaazing! mirri and i had such a good time! got loaaaaaads of things from winton's beautiful charity shops so will post them up when i can find a camera! i got an amazing faux fur coat (to replace last year's very broken and ripped real fur one) for £15.00! so chuffed with that! but like i said, will post up the piccies soon! xx

a friend called mirri...

.... and we're off to bournemouth today!! yayyyy!
the sun is shining... the sky is bluuue... and we're off to the beach!
this means i can't post for a few days but just to amuse you all, i went a bit mad on ebay yesterday...

H scrabble ring - £2.99
floral top - £0.99
owl cushion £12.80

now, i'm going to have a little rant about one of my fave stores, urban outfitters. okay, so on UB this beautiful owl cushion is retailing at £24.00... and that's without postage and packaging (which let me tell you is a complete rip off at about £7.00). now, on ebay (woo!) this SAME owl cushion, PLUS lots and lots more colours and patterns, is just over half price and with FREE postage and packaging!!!
moral of the story; always check on ebay before committing to paying high street prices.
POW.

started an anti-slug campain

okay, so it's now been raining non-stop for the past 3 days, and to be quite frank; i'm bored of it. i'm bored of being wet, i'm bored of waiting 27 minutes for my bus in the rain after work, i'm even bored of my amazing supersized frilly umbrella (that was hard to say). but, most of all... i'm bored of slugs.
slugs... seriously.... why are you here? what is your purpose in life? to eat my dad's vegetable patch and to climb up my windows?? why. as i walked home (yet again, in the rain) from the bus stop earlier this evening, i quite literally had to weave my way through the hundreds of slugs that littered the pavement. but, the real question that plaques my mind; where do these guys hide when it's dry and sunny?
i've seen so many baby slugs but a baby can't grow into big slug in a day? do they have sex obsessed rain orgies, when it chucks it down? why oh why oh why. so many questions about these vile, slithery, slimey critters.
and now, i semi feel bad for them. why is it everyone always feels so upset when they step on a snail, but not a slug? i know i for one do. i get the feeling i've quite literally broken their home. i always picture snails as having little tvs and sofas inside their shells. i know they don't but it gives a somewhat homely feel to living outside in the cold and wet.
i stepped on a slug the other day, it literally exploaded.
i was bare foot.
and i gagged.

that kind of sums up my tale really.
thoughts?
